Who is responsible
ClipCentral operates clipcentral.ai and the associated service. For questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information, contact the person responsible for privacy at hello@clipcentral.ai.
Information we collect
The information depends on the features you use:
- Account: name, email, password hash, phone number during verification, and technical sign-in information.
- Production: uploaded media, transcripts, captions, clips, settings, and activity history in your workspace.
- Connected platforms: account or Page identifiers, permissions and tokens needed for requested features, and the content and insights you authorize us to access.
- Billing: subscription status, purchases, and transaction identifiers. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not ClipCentral.
- Applications and communications: name, email, profile link, primary platform, and any message you send us.
How we use information
We use this information to create and secure your account, provide the production and publishing features you request, manage billing, respond to messages, prevent abuse, and meet applicable obligations.
A social connection is used only for features you authorize. Publishing or taking an action on a platform requires the permissions and confirmations provided by the service.
Providers and transfers
Depending on the features used, technical providers may process the information needed for hosting, media storage and processing, artificial intelligence, communications, verification, analytics, or payments. These may include Vercel, Cloudflare, Turso, RunPod, Anthropic, Twilio, Google, and Stripe, as well as platforms you connect such as Meta, YouTube, Twitch, or Kick.
Some processing may take place outside Québec or Canada. We limit access to information needed to provide the service.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses items necessary for sessions and preferences. Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, when configured, load only after you make a choice in the consent banner. Declining does not prevent use of the site.
Your choice is stored in your browser. You can clear site data in your browser to see the banner again and make a different choice.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed for the purposes described, then delete or anonymize it, subject to legal, security, and accounting obligations. Retention varies by data type and service.
We use appropriate safeguards, including access controls and protection of connection secrets. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, withdraw an optional authorization, or ask about our practices. Email hello@clipcentral.ai from the address associated with your account. We may verify your identity before acting.
The Data deletion page explains how to request deletion of your account and data received from Meta. Some information may be retained when required by law or security needs.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. The update date will be shown on this page.
